I didn’t fully set up my PayPal Standard, but payments still shown in Woocommerce.

    I made the mistake of launching my website selling digital downloads without testing out the PayPal payment section. I only enabled PayPal Standard, entered my PayPal email (for another business I have), and hit save changes. I didn’t enter any live API keys or tokens. Any orders I received were defaulted ‘on hold’, so I granted access to their purchased digital downloads, and changed the order status to ‘completed’. The customers received their products but I didn’t receive their money via my PayPal account. However, on the woocommerce dashboard, it shows the sales I made and on the order information page showing their PayPal receipt.

    2 days later I noticed my PayPal account wasn’t receiving any money. So, that led me back to setting up my PayPal standard account properly. Following the Woocommerce instruction video. But, to my dismay, it seems like I still have the same problem. Can anyone help?

    Does anyone know where the problem lies?

    I’m not entirely sure who to contact. I’m using wordpress with a woocommerce plugin. Wouldn’t this question still apply to WordPress?
