I didnt know that .com and .org was two separate services
-
Hi, i just spent all my money on finally getting a blog that im going to monetize through affiliate links, like amazon and similar services. I understood that wordpress had a smart system with plugins and everything. But now after struggling to get those plugins, i see that .com and .org are two different services. Which is very confusing, since both of them are called wordpress and neither off them explained the differences when signing up. Is there a way you could cancel my .com subscription and give me a .org instead. I dont care about the content i uploaded, i can remake that. I cant afford to pay the price for a completely new subscription again
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, I’m sorry for the confusion. If you want to know more about the differences between hosted WordPress.com sites and self-hosted WordPress.org sites, please check out http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you’d like to refund your purchase, you can do that from from https://howtosellweed101.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
If you’d like to setup a self-hosted WordPress.org site, the first step would be to pick a hosting provider. We have a list of recommended providers at http://get.wp.com/hosting/. Once you choose one, they can help you setup WordPress on their particular systems.
If you’d like to export the content you created at WordPress.com, so that you can import it to your WordPress.org site, you can do that from https://howtosellweed101.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php.
If you’d like our assistance transferring to a WordPress.org site, we do offer a Guided Transfer service. More information about that is available at http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/
I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or if there’s anything else I can do.
Ian
