I didn't put the footer there (on purpose) but don't want it
-
Hello all. I now have a footer (or whatever it’s called) that shows on the bottom of all of my posts. “About Arby” is what you’ll see, along with a sentence, by me. I don’t even remember where I put that, but I do remember doing it. I didn’t know that it would show now on every blog post I do. It’s not awful. But I don’t want to show it. (WordPress has been dumbed down ‘and’ made too complicated in my opinion.) I dread trying to do something with my blog, because I have no idea what I’m doing. You have to stop everything you’re doing and do a course on WP in order to manage your blog. I can’t do that and, if the course is in jargon (which it would be), I’d be no better off afterward.
Anyone?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That ‘About Arby’ is just part of the theme you are using. It has always been there since you created that site back in August 2009.

Right. I’ve been blogging for over ten years and I never noticed that. Nice try. Thanks for the ‘help’.

Ah. A fan. Please ignore me. Please. I do NOT need the harrassment. I’ll be ignoring you from here on.

First, we ask that you please follow our community standards. That includes being polite, especially to our volunteers who are only trying to help you: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/best-practices-community-standards/
Second, you did ask about this in 2017: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/a-hack-added-a-lewd-about-to-my-blog/
The “About Arby” section has always been a part of your theme. There is no way to disable it, but you can change the profile information displayed at https://wordpress.com/me
Alternatively, you can find a different theme which does not apply a shot bio to your posts like that: https://wordpress.com/themes
