I didnt realize I could get a domain here. How to transfer from elsewhere

  I purchased a domain name from godaddy, before It was suggested to me to come to this site. I do not know if I can transfer that domain ? If I can I need help figuring it out. Thank you

  You cannot transfer domain management to Wp.com but you can use that custom domain with your website: you just need to buy Domain Mapping and change the nameservers at godaddy: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
