I disconnected w/ Jetpack can I get it back?
-
All day long my site has said
Service Unavailable
Server currently undergoing maintenance. Webmaster: please contact support.
I cleared the cookies and cache, still nothing. Now I did something with Jetpack and now my site is gone!
What can I do to get it back? -
Note that as Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built into WordPress.COM blogs, and we do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums you can direct these with other Jetpack issues to where they can get Jetpack support.
re: Jetpack support
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
That site is not hosted by wordpress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it, and we do not provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

I have a wordpress.com, I had a wordpress.com site yesterday! I wanted to know if I can restore my site through wordpress or is it gone?
-
You can find step-by-step guides here to https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/ remove a self-hosted WordPress site you had previously connected to your WordPress.com account thanks to the Jetpack plugin.
You need Jetpack support to connect it to your wordpress.COM site again and I told you where to go to get it.
-
Apparently I already removed my self-hosted WordPress site by mistake. Is there a way to get my WordPress site back or is it lost forever?
-
Did you not read what I said?
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org

To re-add a self-hosted site using Jetpack to your WordPress.com account, you’ll need to reconnect Jetpack via that site’s wp-admin.
There is not a way to initiate the connection exclusively from WordPress.com. If you need anything else, please do reach out to us at the link timethief provided.
Cheers!

Thank you @kraftbj that is the answer I was looking for.
Under “My Site” WordPress does says “you don’t have a WordPress site yet” which put me in a bit of a panic thinking I removed my site forever.
Maybe I wasn’t clear in my original post.
I did contact jetpack support using the link @Timethief provided and yes I did read what you said. -
Hi @paperflora, can you send the wordpress.com address for the affected site? Also, the address for the Jetpack site?
Re: this message: “Server currently undergoing maintenance. Webmaster: please contact support.” that can mean a number of things, but generally you’d want to get in touch with your host.
