I do not get SMS Verification codes
-
I’m unable to login to my blog (http://mariuver.wordpress.com) because it asked me for a SMS Verification code. I waited forever but the code never came to my phone.
I already filled out the “Account Recovery” Forum, and I have not received any feedback yet.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The problem resolved itself yesterday (24 March) in the evening (local – Estonian – time), the codes started arriving again. But what was the cause of the problem, why did I not receive the codes for 4 days? I also don’t understand why the back-up codes didn’t work. It could be that my telephone company is to be blamed. I approached them; they wanted additional information, which I provided. They promised to send my letter to the technical department.
After the incident I thought that two-stage protection and not sufficiently reliable in principle. A hacker that has obtained the password can get into the blog, get backup codes, and have access to the blog without the knowledge of the owner. Is it possible to have notifications sent to a specific e-mail address about backup codes, the addition of mobile devices, password changes, e-mail address changes etc.? -
A hacker that has obtained the password can get into the blog,
Actually, this isn’t true. A hacker would need the password and access to your codes to get into your site.
