I do not know what to do next

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, my domain is realestateram.com and I believe my word press site is relestateram.wordpress.com – I am new to this. I have done all the steps as asked but now I keep getting the same message. ‘Please check your primary sites jetpack connection’ what does this mean and how do I fix the issue? Thank you

I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  • Hi there,

I see that realestateram.com is currently hosted with Go Daddy and the domain’s nameservers are still pointed there. If you want to use realestateram.com with WordPress.com, you can either transfer the domain over to us or map the domain. Here are both the difference and instructions to do either:

‘Please check your primary sites jetpack connection’ what does this mean and how do I fix the issue?

You may see a “Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection” message in your WordPress.com account if Jetpack is not able to connect to the primary site in the account. Jetpack is what allows the site to be seen and managed from within your WordPress.com account. However, you have a Business Plan therefore you have access to our live chat support. Please start a chat session from the link below and we’ll help you resolve the issue you’re having in real-time.

The account you are contacting us from is not connected to realestateram.com. You will need to log into the correct WordPress.com account n order to reach out to live chat and receive assistance.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your help. I was able to update the servers. How do I start a chat session? When I click on that link it takes me to the forum in order to post? It does not let me start a live chat even if I search for it in the support. Please help me resolve the Jetpack issue. Not sure what else to do.

  • Hi there,

Live chat support is only available for owners of a WordPress.com Premium or Business Plan, and the ramsesnava account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any WordPress.com sites or plans.

Your site at realestateram.com does have a Business Plan, but that site belongs to a completely different username account. So you need to log out of the ramsesnava account and log back in as the correct account to gain access to that site, and to live chat support.

If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access.

Please help me resolve the Jetpack issue

You’re seeing this for the ramsesnava account, correct? You used to have a Bluehost-hosted site connected to this account on a temporary Bluehost domain, https://box5808.temp.domains/. That site no longer appears to be online, which is why Jetpack is showing an error.

If you still have that site with Bluehost at a different domain, log into the dashboard, disconnect and then reconnect Jetpack to your WordPress.com account, and the error should go away.

If you no longer have a site with Bluehost, we can remove that connection so that site is no longer listed in your WordPress.com account.
