I do not own credit card, only paypal. I want to buy mapping domain, but I cant

  I want to pay for my domain mapping with paypal, I have 13 dollars on my paypal account balance.
  But it continues to ask me for my credit card ( I do not own such a card) . why?
  It prompts me about future “renewing” domain, but i do not want automatic renewal!
  I will pay for it myself in a year.

  If you do not accept just using paypal balance – and always require credit card for _any_ kind of payment, why there is 2 paymant options ?
  1) credit card
  2) paypal
  If it is all the same in the end…..? Always, only credit card…

  I do not posses one, people…:(
  I have just regular payment card that I use to replenish/fund paypal with money.

  I have only paypal with 13 dollars on it, to make international payments. (I’m form Poland)
  I want to pay with that money…
  Why can’t I?? :(((((((((((

  Below are the only accepted means of payment.

  WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/

  If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country. Note: You can buy a prepaid credit card from an approved country.

  In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

  The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.

  Poland is one of supported countries…so? Why they still prompt me for credit card?

  Hi there,

  PayPal sometimes requires that you add a credit card to your account, even if you are paying with a PayPal balance. That’s a PayPal requirement and isn’t something WordPress.com can change at this point. Sorry for the inconvenience!
