I do not want karen halabura to delete my blog

Karen Halabura invited me to her blog, and she left her blog for over a year, and is now active again. I am not friends with Karen any longer, and am worried sick she is going to delete my blog now. Please keep her from doing this, as i have alot of blogs i wrote that have vital information about my life in them. I know she is angry at me, so i am worried in her anger, she will delete me. Again, please do not allow her to do so…..or what steps can i take to keep her from deleting my blog?

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and delete the blog https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Any blog you registered under your own username account cannot be deleted by anyone but you, unless you are foolish and share your login information with someone else, or you provide enough information for them to guess what your password is.

If what you are asking is for Staff to prevent you from having your access removed to a blog that you did not register under your username account then there’s no way they will do that. You do not own any blog you are invited to contribute to. The blog’s owner can remove your access to their blog and remove your content from their blog at any time.

I am a disabled Autistic adult who is trying to get my story out there for the purpose of educating people about what life is like for someone who is middle-aged and Autistic. A lady, initials K. H., invited me to join her blog back in 2011. I didn’t get involved in writing in the new blog until March 2014. K.H. was the original creator of this blog. By the time i began to be involved in this blog, K. H. had stopped writing on her blog—-and hasn’t since 2011, in fact, it seems she has abandoned the blog.
As a result, i am now listed as sole administrator of this blog. All i was asking was could K. H. come back and delete my blog now that she has abandoned her account? I am looking for friendly help, not to be scolded, please. I don’t want to lose my blog.

1. Are you talking about the site http://melissaautisticfields.wordpress.com/ or a different site?2. If you are talking about melissaautisticfields, who originally registered that site on WordPress.com?

Log in to your dashboard and click on Users -> All Users.
Have a look at the Users and email addresses listed there to see if your User account is listed as an Administrator.

My friend registered it and invited me back in October 2011, but since she stopped writing on the blog later that same year, WordPress itself switched me to Site Admin. Her blog is still up. I haven’t deleted it, and don’t want to do that to her, because i’m not a mean person.
However, i am scared, frightened, she will now come back and delete me.
@g471n, when i log into my dashboard, and all users, i see only my email address and see that my role is Administrator. My friend is no longer listed as Admin though, but i believe WordPress did that when she stopped being active on her site.
I really appreciate the friendly, respectful and courteous responses i am receiving now. Thank you @JustJennifer and @g471n.
Does this mean i’m okay? I just want to know that my friend can’t delete me. That would mean all of my words i have taken so much time and work to write and express will be gone forever, and that would devastate me.

I think it does but I have added a modlook tag to this thread to request that a staff member have a look and confirm this for you.
If you have ever shared your login details with anyone else, I would suggest that you change your password as timethief suggested above.

Sorry @g471n- needed to refresh.
In any event, if karen registered the site on WPcom, she would have needed to transfer ownership to you to eliminate the possibility of her deleting it, but let’s wait for Staff to reply. Stay tuned.

You are the only user on the blog melissaautisticfields.wordpress.com. Only your account would be able to make any changes to, or delete the blog.
If you’re worried about her logging into your account, I would suggest perhaps changing your password.

Thank you for your response. I have changed my password already, so i feel i am safe now. I am so relieved to know she cannot tamper with or delete my blog now. She did abandon the blog four years ago, and i did hear that once someone does that, the other person does become Admin and sole user.Thanx again for all of your help, @g471n, @justjennifer, helper-brucea, and also @timethief. :)
