I do not want my full post in email

  Hello,
  I am wondering if there is a way to eliminate the full post in emails sent to subscribers? Ideally I’d like just the first couple lines or an excerpt to go out in the email telling them I have posted so they can go to the site to read the full post. How do I change this in my settings? Thank you.
