I don't find the editor!

    Sorry,
    I need to do a page like the demo of the theme called Sela. But images doesn’t appear in automatic for the post’s preview in home. Why?
    I’d like to change the php, but I don’t find the editor, why?

    Hi there,

    I can see you’ve completed some of the steps to get set up like Sela’s demo site already: You’ve set a static front page and assigned the Front Page template to it. Great!

    The next step is to set a featured image for the front page. We have steps, including a handy video walkthrough, for setting a featured image here:

    Featured Images

    The featured image that you set will appear in the main background of the front page, as you see from the demo site.

    You can then add content in the three columns beneath the image by navigating to the Widgets panel of the WordPress.com Customizer. Any widgets that you add to the First, Second, and Third Front Page Widget Areas will appear below the main image.

    Hi,
    thank you very much for your answer.

    In this moment the site that you are seeing is not the final version because I help a friend that is the owner of the website. I’ll ask if I can show for a day my version.

    In my own I set the featured image in the front page. But I’d like to add last 3 posts in Home page. I did it but I’m not able to add the preview image on the post. I’m seeing only the title and it’s not good for me.

    Can you help me?

    Ok in this moment is online my version.
    Look at last posts. They are orrible with only the title. :(

    There isn’t a way to get the Recent Posts widget to display an excerpt for your posts.

    The excerpts that you see on the theme’s demo site have, instead, been manually added via a Text widget.

    You can copy/paste excerpts from posts of your choice to an excerpt for display on the front page. HTML can then be used to add links and image to your posts. We have a good introduction to HTML, including specific steps to create a link and image with it, here:
