I don't get a thumbnail image when I share my posts on Facebook.

  If I share my showcase page, I’ll get my gravatar as the thumbnail. But if I share the individual posts, I won’t get an image at all. I tried to add a plugin but I can’t figure out how to add a plugin online. The instructions I found seemed to indicate a plugin tab on the dashboard menu, but I didn’t see it in my dashboard.

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we can’t install plugins. I’m sorry but we have no control over which images Facebook chooses to display and we have no control over how long it takes for the image caches at Facebook to be flushed. They make changes frequently and every time they do we get these kind of questions. Does this help?
