i don't get it

I have used YOUR OWN program, wordpress, to create a beautiful website on my computer, following the instruction I found on youtube, and you do not allow me to use it(upload it) on YOUR platform, instead, you give me a very limited navigation panel, with limited themes, to a person who has no experience in building websites. I’ve tried to build something with the tools that you provide here, but is just to different from what I managed to create using YOUR OWN program, but, on my computer. There’s no ‘themify’ option, with drag and drop functions, there’s no ‘parallax’ option, or some other beautiful features. Everything is plain and dull. Why, when you have so many helpful options available on YOUR OWN program, for people with no experience. I don’t get it.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you paid for a Premium membership? That is the only way that you can make changes to things like the theme colors, CSS, etc. and have them actually save to the site. Otherwise, you can demo what it could look like, but it won’t actually save it at all.

The tutorials you refer to are for wordpress.ORG software installs. They do not apply to wordpress.COM hosted sites.

This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    This is a wordpress.COM hosted site https://atlasulvietii000webhostapp.wordpress.com/

    What calling1out posted is correct.

The short answer is that you have the ability to edit the CSS stylesheet only when you upgrade to WordPress.COM Premium or Business plans.

The only themes we can use on WordPress.COM hosted sites are here https://wordpress.com/themes/ The way your theme is designed to function and the features it has are found at the detailed description page, for example at https://wordpress.com/theme/resonar and that’s where the live demo site link is also found. We cannot change how any theme functions. We can do some CSS editing to change appearance only if we have the required upgrade.

WordPress.COM is a multi user blogging platform with off the shelf themes and it’s aimed for use by those who do not code. Each theme is uniquely designed. We wordpress.com bloggers do not have access to the template files underlying our themes and we cannot edit them, as our blogs share a common architecture, and as all blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template, found on the live demo site for each theme.

Does Customize let me edit HTML?
No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications. You can read more about why here http://support.wordpress.com/code/, and find a suitable host here http://get.wp.com/hosting/.

Note 1: Once you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.

Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

Without any upgrade you can use these themes https://wordpress.com/themes/ on your site.

If you do not wish to purchase a Premium or Business upgrade this guide will explain how to move your WordPress.com site to another hosting platform where all you pay for will be hosting: Moving to Self-Hosted WordPress http://move.wordpress.com
