You have a wordpress.com blog linked to your username and this is the wordpress.com technical support forum. We do not have FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and cannot upload individual plugins. I believe you will benefit from reading this entry which describes the differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
I also think you will benefit from reading this entry as well. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=code
Lastly this is the link to the main page in support documentation for Widgets. If you click the individual links you will find descriptions and instructions for each of the widgets available. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/widgets-sidebars/ -

You’re welcome. If you feel not being able to have FTP access and the ability to upload plugins is probelematic for you then the other wordpress option is available. You can hire a web host and get a free software download from wordpress.org for self hosting.
