I don't have access to my current blog on the Mobile App for Android

  I started a blog (www.sheautoworld.com) with username [redacted] and then I contracted with iPage to design my website for me and now my username is [redacted]. I can access this new username blog online, but I can’t on the mobile app. How do I setup the mobile app in order to gain access to my blog via [redacted]?

  Hi there,

  Your username has not changed. You will need to continue to log in using the original username which you created when you first setup your account!

  I do log in with my original username; however, I don’t see any of my current posts on the mobile app.

  Hi there,

  When I went to your site originally, there were no posts being displayed on the front of your site. Now it is displaying all of your posts dating back to 2012. Are your posts showing up in your app now?

  Also, please make sure that when you added your blog to the mobile app that you chose “Add a WordPress.com Blog” and not a “Add a Self-Hosted WordPress.org” blog, as they are very different and will display different results.

  Hello,

  I am log in under “Add a WordPress.com Blog” and the last post I see is “Women interested in…” from 06.13.2012. However, when I go to Reader, I see all of my current post under “Blogs I follow.” I went to try and create a new post but it’s pointing to the old blog and not the new one.

  Oh, I see! Have you created a new blog which is hosted with a third party? One that is set up using WordPress.org?

  If so, then all you need to do is add a new blog and log in using the username and password which they have given you, and you should be able to see your posts there.

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the delay, I had to wait until a coworker got in who had an Android phone so I could have her verify the exact steps (I personally have an iPhone!).

  To add a new site, you need to go the the little stacked three squares menu button to find the Settings menu. Then once in Settings you should see a button for “Add a Blog.” On the Add a Blog page, you have an option for adding a new WordPress.com blog or a self-hosted WordPress.org blog. Select the latter and then enter whatever settings your new host gave you!
