  Hi there, everyone on WordPress.com starts with a free subdomain that looks like yoursite.wordpress.com You can continue to use that free subdomain for as long as you wish.

  You can also upgrade and purchase a plan with domain for any of your free websites. If you haven’t already, I recommend signing up for notifications of WordPress.com promotions on your Updates page at https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/updates WordPress.com regularly sends out promotions and you’ll be able to take advantage of that.
