I don't have plugin function in dashboard

  Hy,

  I have a problems. I don’t have the function plugin in my dashboard. I have plugin at the link and I can’t upload nothing.

  How I install this function?

  Please help me please.

  Here’s what I did. I went to the main page of the support documentation and I typed in “plugins” Here are the results > http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ Then I clicked the link provided in that entry and I read this > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  There is no DTP access to free hosted wordpress.com blogs and we cannot upload plugins into them. If you feel you need plugins then hire a web host and get a free software install from wordpress.org.

  If you intend to remain at wordpress.com please tell us which functions you are looking for as we may be able to point you to an in-house widget or a workaround.

  Sorry, plugins are not allowed on blogs at wordpress.COM for security reasons. Plugins are for self-hosted blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  I was asking the same question about where the plugin menu is. Thanks for the answer. But, what is a self hosted blog? Is it a domain name with my own hosting but using wordpress.org software? Do I have to pay wordpress?

  If you host not on WordPress.COM then you pay your host to have your site on it – you don’t need to pay WordPress.ORG for the use of the software.

  Thanks for asking this question. I’m learning so much trying to set up my blog. I was hoping to have reference books from Amazon listed for my readers, and use one of the plugins for Amazon affiliates.

  Yes I’d like to be able to do this on my wordpress hosted blog! Doesn’t have to be a widget or plugin, I can put them all on a reference page of posts, perhaps? Any hints or help would be much appreciated :) Back to google!

  Affiliate sales are, with a few narrow exceptions, banned on WordPress.com. You had better contact staff directly from your dashboard and ask them if what you want is within the Terms of Service or not.

  In a nutshell free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM cannot be used to drive traffic to third-party sites by means of advertising and/or affiliate programs (see “Affiliate marketing blogs below for more clarity”).

  No blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on wordpress.COM blogs.

  The only advertising exceptions are for high traffic blogs that qualify for and are accepted into the Ad Control program, and for extremely high traffic blogs that qualify and are accepted into the paid VIP hosting program.

  The only exceptions with regard to affiliate links are found here:
