I don’t have the option to upload image – help

  I read the FAQ but I don’t have the option to upload images when I am going through the tabs. There is a manage media tab but that does not show the option to upload either. How do I upload an image on the blog?

  You upload images from the post or page editor.

  Also, if you are new here, go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash in your browser. The image uploader is flash based and needs the latest version to work properly.

  I went to write post and the add media option is not there like ths instructions stated. where is page editor?

  If the media buttons aren’t there, it probably means you do not have the latest version of flash. Update it as I suggested.

  Another question: Are you an admin on the blog or just a contributor?

  If you are a contributor you are not allowed to upload images etc. You would need to be upgraded to Author.
