I don't know how to change my posts that I want listed under my most popular sec

  Hi can you tell me how to change the articles listed on my sidebar of most popular posts?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  My blog used to list my most recent posts but i changed that category to most polar posts and was going to add 5 that I wanted to showcase only I don’t know how to remove the 5 most recent and put on the new 5 I select.

  All of this makes me think of the Jackson 5 which makes me think its past my bedtime.

  Please help

  Hey there!

  It sounds like you want to use the Top Posts & Pages Widget instead of the Recent Posts widget that you’re currently using.

  However, neither of these allow you to select which posts are displayed. Here’s a way that you could do that:

  1. Create a Category for the posts you want to feature. For example you could use ‘featured’ or ‘sidebar’.
  2. Add a Text Widget to your sidebar.
  3. Use the Display Posts Shortcode to display the specific Category of posts. For example, here’s what the code would look like if you use the Category ‘featured’:

     [display-posts category="featured"]

  You could also do this by identifying post ids, then you wouldn’t have to add a specific category:

  [display-posts id="14,3"]
