I don't know what a widget is and I'm not very computer savvy, can I talk with

I have a word document that I want to download onto my blog spot and have people upload (or download?) for their reading.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Luckily you don’t have to know what a widget is to do this :-)
Inserting a document is similar to adding an image: In you post editor, click on the Add Media button. Follow the instructions to upload the document to your media library and insert into post. A link to the document will appear and if anyone clicks on it they should get the option to open or to download the document. See full instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/
If you haven’t yet, you might also want to work through the “Learn WordPress” support doc (http://learn.wordpress.com/) and the “Video Quick Start” tutorial (http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/). There they cover all the basics you need to know, including widgets and adding media to your posts/pages.
