I don't know what my URL is

  I wanted to add my blog to a search engine it asked for my URL, I thought this would be my blog address but apparently not! I’m a beginner when it comes to all this so I’m unsure of a lot of it. If you could help me with this I’d be very grateful

  I think it was bing
  But I’m trying to get it acknowledged by any and am not really sure where to start.

  Hey Katie,

  Easiest first step is to submit your site URL to the engines:

  • Submit URL to Google
  • Submit URL to Bing

  Take it to the next level by hooking into Webmaster Tools:

  1. Sign up for a Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools account.
  2. During the Webmaster Tools setup process, you’ll be asked to verify your site. Use the HTML tag option. Copy/paste the unique codes (look for content='<code here>' on Google & Bing) into your WordPress Tools screen (link).
  3. Click “Save Changes” in WordPress.
  4. Click “Verify” in Google & Bing.

  And finally, give the Beginners’ Guide to SEO a read.
