I don't know what's going on

  For months I couldn’t login to my wordpress account, then I decided to look at the help thing and saw that if I had an activation email I could use that as proof of owner ship and be let into my account, the funny thing is when I clicked it, it signed me in?

  I still have no idea what my password is, when ever I try to change it it tells me that I used that too recently . Even though I’d gotten emails from wordpress to my email account when I tried to reset my password using my email it told me that there was no account registered with that email on wordpress.

  I really don’t know what’s going on, would it be easier to just delete my account and start over?
