I don't receive my Domain Transfer Code!

    I’ve had a blog in my domain vivianatrujillo.net, which I got through wordpress.com. Now I want to transfer it to infranetworking, so I followed the instructions to unlock my domain and send the code. I receive this information: ”An email has been sent to the Domain Registrant’s contact email address containing the Domain Transfer Code. If you don’t receive the email shortly, please check your spam folder”. However, I haven’t received anything! I’ve checked the spam folder, tried at least 5 times and nothing.

    I decided to try with another email, so I changed my contacted email (I didn’t change the First Name, Last Name or Organization), tried again and nothing. What can I do?

    What I am seeing is that you allowed a domain to expire and therefore you no longer own it. As you do not own it you cannot transfer it to another registrar. Please read this http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

    Hi there,

    TimeThief is correct, your domain vivianatrujillo.net expired about a month ago. It can still be retrieved from the registry for the usual renewal cost plus an additional registry-mandated redemption fee if you so desire, or you can wait an additional few weeks and the domain will be released to the general public at which point you will be able to register it at any registrar.

    If you’d like to redeem your domain name, let me know and I’ll get started on that process!
