I dont recognize my username

    Hi, My blog email address that I used to sign up jetpack I think this is my first time sign up with jetpack but ended up I had registered with jetpack but the username not belong to me

    Hi there!

    I’m not sure I understand what do you mean. The username on your WordPress.com account is haloendometriosis. It’s here where you connected the site haloendometriosis.web.id.
    Could you please specify what seems to be the issue?

    Hi Fresatomica,

    Yes I changed it the username and I also changed the password and do the setting as I afraid my account is being hacked. Previous username was chocolatedjnus1607 (something like that) I did not remember exactly. I never use that name in any profile. I don’t know whether that username is given automatically by jetpack maybe for the first time user.

    So I just want to confirm with jetpack whether you always give random username for first time user. What I remember I didn’t sign up or setting up the jetpack. But if I did sign up is it true that jetpack always give a random username to make sure that my account not being hacked.

    I dug around a bit and found that with some connection flows, Jetpack does indeed generate a username for you rather than forcing you to choose one that will never show up on your site, but of course you’re free to change it if you’d like, as you did.
