I don't see a dashboard and cannot update my time zone for scheduled post

    Hi, I am an experienced WordPress user, and when I started a blog for my current employer, the dashboard feature appears not to be available, or maybe just not on the current theme? I need to change the time zone for scheduled posts and currently the only option available to make any adjustments to the blog at all is ‘Settings’ which does not include a timezone feature.
    Wordpress Help states that the timezone can be changed by accessing the Dashboard, but there is no Dashboard feature available anywhere on the Admin bar we have. Is this no longer a feature of free WordPress blogs, or has it just moved somewhere hard-to-find?

    The default timezone is UTC time. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account. You have to contact the site’s actual owner and have them transfer the blog to your username account.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and reset timezone. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

    http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with the actual blog’s name in that URL.

    Provided you are logged in as Admin you can confirm or reset your timezone here > Dashboard > Settings > General.

    Go to http://vibrantwellnessblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

    There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

    Note that you can examine these images so you see how to edit posts and change datestamps and timestamps where required.

    Thanks, I am the administrator and the one that created the blog for the company, so I figured it would default to show up in the admin bar.

    I was able to access it fine through manually typing into the address bar and will create a bookmark, as it appears when I log out, it does not automatically show up as an option to access the Dashboard.
