I don’t see the podcasting option

In the settings tab under writing, I don’t see any option of podcasting. I’ve checked in the app version, wpadmin on the browser and haven’t found them. Please support me to make this happen.

There’s a support article all about podcasting here:
It mentions “Uploading these files is only available as part of the WordPress.com Personal, Premium, or Business plan. If your site is on the Free plan, you will need to host your audio files elsewhere and embed them into your podcast episodes.”
Do you have a paid plan? If not, this may be the reason for your issue.

I have the premium plan! In the settings tab under writing, I don’t see any option of podcasting either!

If you’re talking about a WordPress.com site you find it in the My Sites/Calyypso “Settings” “Writing” not in the classic wp-admin dashboard.

@puneethsuraana, your account does not own any WordPress.com sites. http://puneetsurana.com/ is built using the open source WordPress.org software, and connected here via the Jetpack plugin.The version of WordPress you’re using does not come with podcasting support built in, but instead you need to add a plugin to do that on your site. You can ask for more help here:

@lotharkrauss, all your sites are on WordPress.com, so you should see our new podcasting interface at My Site ->Settings ->Writing.If you don’t see it, or need more help with this, please let us know the address of the site where you’re trying to enable it.
