re: Deleting Accounts
WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted permanently once created.But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Even if you deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.Thanks! 🙂
