I don't understand how to update my DNS records…
-
Hello,
I have mapped my blog to a domain at dotster.com. I am having some trouble getting the email address connected to my domain to work. Dotster told me told me that me “Please point MX Record of your domain to mx.dotster.com (66.96.140.50, 66.96.140.51 66.96.140.50) and by contacting DNS provider of your domain. Once the MX records are changed, it takes 1-12 hours to update DNS changes. “
and “You need to update the MX record of your domain to mx.dotster.com and TXT: v=spf1 ip4:66.96.128.0/18 ?all .”Can you please tell me how to enter this information in this format “MX <pref> <host>.
TXT <text>
CNAME <subdomain> <host>.
A <subdomain> <IP>
SRV <_service._protocol> <priority> <weight> <port> <domain>” so that I can update my DNS records?I really appreciate the help.

Hi there,
In order to have your MX records pointed towards Dotster, according to the information you sent, you just need to enter the following:
MX 0 mx.dotster.com
And then the text record would look like this:
TXT v=spf1 ip4:66.96.128.0/18 ?all
Let me know if you need anything else!

Awesome!!!
I just tried them out, and they can be saved!!
I’ll write more if it still doesn’t work after 72, but so far so good!
Thanks a lot. -
