I don’t understand what’s happening.

    Hello, a month ago, I paid bluehost for a domain. Then I thought I set up a WordPress.org account. I have emails that say ‘welcome’ along with links to the admin site. When I try to sign in, it says ‘this site cannot be reached’.

    So, I created a WordPress.com account with the same email. and that sort of worked, except nothing works. I can’t use themes, I can write a post.

    I’m just super confused. I want whichever WordPress site is easiest to use (as I am clearly an idiot) – and I would just like to start writing a blog of family stories. Nothing is working.. did I my website to any of the wordpress sites? Have I entered into another dimension where I never created any wordpress accounts? Should I just give up writing a blog and just tell my stories to my cat?

    Hi,

    So you did indeed register mcelhinnyavenue.com with Bluehost and it looks like the problem is that there is something wrong with the domain’s nameservers. I would encourage you to contact Bluehost’s support team and see if they can sort it out for you.
