I don’t want all my subpages in the “Pages” sidebar widget

I have about five “level 1” pages, and each of these has about 5 “level 2” subpages (5 for each “level 1” page). Some of these “level 2” subpages have as many as 30 “level 3” sub-subpages.

I don’t want any of these “level 3” subpages to show in my Pages widget– just the “Level 1” and “Level 2”

Can I change this by editing the CSS? Can I make a Text widget and hard-code the “Level 1” and “Level 2” pages? I think my college programming instructor would have frowned on that…

I’m not sure but I think purchasing the css upgrade will only get you to change the appearance of your blog and not how it runs or it’s functions. Hopefully someone else can help.

you can choose to show certain pages/subpages at your sidebar. in the pages widget, there is an option to hide pages by inserting the page id.

How did I not notice that?! Thanks.
