I don’t want comments to appear in my blog

  Can I do it? I would like to read comments, through my e-mail perhaps, but I don’t want the comments to be seen in the page.
  Is that possible? How can i do that?

  You have two choices:

  1. turn comments off at settings > discussion. That will set comments off for any now posts or pages you publish. Any already published posts or pages will have to have the comments turned off individually, or by using the bulk edit function at pages > edit or posts > edit to turn them off in bulk. You could then set up a contact page for people to use to contact you and comment: http://support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ .

  2. set it so that all comments require moderation and that way they will not show up on the blog unless or until you would approve them, but you could review them in your dashboard. This will likely irritate your visitors though as when they leave a comment, they expect it will show up on the blog post.

  That second sentence in #1 should read: “That will set comments off for any NEW posts or pages you publish.”

  I also want to turn off comments at my dashboards and blogs. Perhaps you and or @thesacredpath can help.

  Why is it my COMMENTS are still showing up?
  i dont want ANYONE to be able to COMMENT or RESPOND on my site — how do i get rid of this?! HELP please.
