I don’t want my author name to show up on my posts

    There must be a setting for this but I have searched and searched.

    Hi samuelbarasch,

    If you have a paid WordPress.com account,

    you can add the following CSS code in the Additional CSS section in Theme Customizer to remove the author name:

    .entry-author {
    display: none;
    }

    Let me know if it works.

    HI there,

    On what site are you working?

    Whether or not an author byline displays or not depends on your theme – some themes display them, some don’t, some only display theme if the site has multiple authors, and only some have a setting that allows you to pick what you want.

    If your theme doesn’t have an option to hide it, the only way to hide it is using custom CSS code on the Premium Plan.

    If someone posts in this forum, they most likely have a free site. So rather get more information first that will enable you to give the correct advice, than posting a solution the OP will not be able to use.
