I Don't Want New Posts On Home Page

  I started a new blog at http://www.KiraRenee.com and I was considering a premium plan but FIRST I wanted to see if WordPress was a platform I would like. I’m happy so far except for one problem: each new post appears on the home page and I DO NOT want that. I want a specific post (a welcome post) to stay on the home page and I want all new posts to be searchable on a separate page. Does anyone know would I do that? Thank you!

  You can achieve this by creating the category & category pages.

  So every time when you add a post with the category it will be listed automatically in its respective category page.

  For homepage you can create a ‘Static Front Page’ page.
