Hi,
1) Please refer to the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
2) If you want to build a site, set the front page to use a static page you create: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Then, simply don’t use the Posts functionality – just stick to Pages.Happy blogging!

E-commerce options have been removed here at WordPress.COM. Secure payment systems are not available here at wordpress.COM. You need a wordpress.ORG install. Please read this https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/e-commerce-22?replies=17#post-2575955
Provided you are selling only what you yourself make or a service that you personally provide on a wordpress.COM site you have two options.
(1) PayPal – Know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
Note that the PayPal email link is not supported and PayPal customization options are not supported either https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paypal-button-41?replies=12#post-2517229 This is not likely to be changed any time soon, if at all.(2) If you set up an eCommerce site somewhere else online you can create a custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ and include a custom link to that site in it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links
Some bloggers create a contact form https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ on a page and after the people have made a PayPal donation they provide the link to a private page for downloading files. Maybe that will work for you.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you need a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

2) I don’t want a blog just a straight up website with nice pictures and graphics and eye catching allure.
If you decide to have your blog hosted here and use the options I posted above (PayPal or set up an e-commerce site somewhere online and link to it in a custom menu) then please read on.
A blog is a website. The difference between blog and website is simply structure and semantics.
A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.
What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one-way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.
Any WordPress blog can be restructured from being post based to being page based – no upgrade required. For greater clarity read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/

I think I now know why I cant do or see what Im was expecting. I have the Free blog subscription. I see that with paid subscriptions to Premium and Business you get the ability to customize page and other neat features. I think that’s what I was looking for.
New question. Is there a way to see how the Business Subscription performs BEFORE spending $300? A free 14 days trial or something like that. I absolutely dont mind paying but for example, if I dont like it then we have the $300 issue hanging out.
If you doont mind take a peek at my website and let me know if WordPress can do the same thing.
http://www.fitserviceonline.comThanks for your help I appreciate it.

For a Staff response the best contact form to use now is:
http://wordpress.com/help/contact
Live chat will be available there if we have Happiness Engineers available to chat. When they are not available using that link results in posting to this peer support forum.re: direct email support
Also note, that you can email Staff at:
support@wordpress.com
or
help@wordpress.com -
Don’t you think “dpirri” could actually try it?
Plans and other purchases can be canceled within 30 days of purchasing. -
No, I do not recommend that. Moving a site is not an easy breezy thing to do and having to move back again after cancellation and refunding, and then once again redirecting the URL is a PITA. I think this blogger ought to use the links I provided to contact Staff directly. And, that is why I posted them.

last comment on this thread. With regard to try it before you buy it. I think I will try it and if I dont like it cancel within 30 days for a refund. Im not going to go crazy building a site but at least I will know if I can work with it and if the results match my expectations.
On the other hand, if I dont like Business subscription I will cancel altogether and no worries about moving the (test) website over. If Business Subscription doesn’t meet my expectations – and- I already know Free Subscription doesn’t either, I will cancel them both and on from there.
I really do like the WP sites I see. Im sure the Biz Sub will make me happy and Ill sign up for long term. See you inside!!
Thank you for all your help.

I really do like the WP sites I see.
It’s critically important to comprehend the differences between wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG sites. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ About 30 % of those who post here every day for the last 10 years assume wordpress.ORG sites are hosted by wordpress.COM when they aren’t.
My recommendation made above stands.
