I don't want to delete the blogroll links, I don't want them public.

I want to make blogroll and meta invisible to the public. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing changes.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every themes has a default display of what appears to be widgets but aren’t. Go here > Select each widget you want to display and click it to open, configure where required, click “save” and then click “close”. Your choices will then override the default display.

When I go to appearance>widgets, I get a page that requires dragging the widget to the desired location, no option to open. What now? Thanks.

I don’t know if this is will help, and someone might come along with a better answer, but I have some links that I don’t want to show on the blog and I’ve just saved them to a link category called “Store”. Unless there is a widget saying where to display this category of links, it won’t show up. There is a problem in that you won’t be able to see them and I can’t think of a way although someone else might know. Unless if you wanted to view them you would have to use a widget and then take it down again when viewed. I actually just did that by mistake by putting up a widget that said display all link categories and I used it as an opportunity to edit the list and take out links I didn’t really want to keep. There is a place to store unused widgets at the bottom of the widget page but it’s really ease to just select it to display that category or all categories so you can see what’s there.
