I don’t want to see my stats

There are plenty of ways to see my stats quickly if I choose to, and I don’t want to make money off the site, so how do I stop the stats from appearing against my will? It’s bad for my mental health.

Thanks, because it’s not even worth using the site anymore. Even the web version shoves it down my throat, so I’m on the verge of just deleting my account and going with a completely different platform.

My question still wasn’t answered though: how can I hide my stats? There are already two links on the homepage that enable users to view their stats. They have plenty of options, so why don’t I get one? I use WordPress as a catharsis, not for business; literally the last thing I need is to see how many people are viewing my post versus how many are actually liking them. That is extremely triggering and defeats the entire purpose of my blog, which is supposed to be a safe space.

Because stats are a popular feature with most site owners on WordPress.com, we do not have a way to disable it within your specific view.
If you wish, you could export your contents to a self-hosted WordPress site, which are a special type of WordPress site that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.
On self-hosted sites (which use the free open-source variant of the WordPress platform) there are no stats software by default, so you would not see stats within your site’s dashboard.
