I’m new. You jumped the gun on me. I don’t want what you think I want. How do I back it up? or get out and start over?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks very much. I never heard of Word Press. I just found it. I tried to set up a blog and got the wrong words in the wrong places but it won’t let me back up and make it right. Word Press says, OK, now you’re XYX to the WordPress world. And I say, No, I’m Brad, not XYZ.
The best way I can say it is that I want to back up and make it right.

This is still not referring to anything specific on your blog, but let me try anyway:
If you want to change your blog title (currently “bradshadblog”) or your tagline which appears underneath (currently “English grammar, perfect tenses”), you can do so from Settings ->General on your dashboard.
If you want to change your username, bradvines2014, you can do so here: https://wordpress.com/settings/account/ Note that this cannot be reversed – once you give up your current username it’s gone forever.
If you want to change your blog’s address (currently http://bradshadblog.wordpress.com/) you can do so following the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
I suggest you work through these support docs so you can quickly learn how everything works here. It will also help you in being more specific when asking for help.

Many thanks, kokkieh. I changed what I would call the “banner” to “Brad’s Had Blog”. I’ll work the [dot]com problem later. I wonder if I should copy the rest of what you told me or will I be able to get back to it when I need it? Never mind. I saved it where I will know how to find it.
Many MANY thanks, kokkieh.

Glad I could help. Whenever you come to the forums and click on your name in the top-right corner where it says “Welcome bradvines2014 | Log out” or if you click on the word member right under your username next to your posts it will take you to a list of all the forum threads in which you’ve posted. That way you can find this thread again easily. You can also add it to your favourites to make it even easier to find.
In your dashboard, if you scroll right to the bottom of the screen, you’ll also find a link marked support. That will take you to the help-section where you can also search for answers.
Happy blogging and don’t hesitate to ask in the forums if you get stuck.

Hey, kokkieh, when you get a minute, go to bradshadblog and write something, anything, so I can see how that part works. I’m supposed to see it before it goes on the blog, am I not? Part of the reason to do this is to cut out the morons and the garbage. So I get to click on something if I want to let it pass? Or I can delete part and let the rest pass? ‘Zat how it works?

Will you please consider using the step by step learn wordpress.com blogging tutorial prepared by Staff and linked to the bottomof your Admin page at http://learn.wordpress.com ?
-
Thanks, timethief. Been there, done that. Must be a link missing — at least for me.
If this works, it’s going to be PLENTY cool (that’s old-fashioned for ‘good’.)
If ya wanna help, write something on my blog. Still no linkage. Still no rubber meeting the road.

I help here as I have done for over 8 years now. Helping people learn how to use the software effectively does not writing anything at all on any other blogger’s blog. Getting help requires bloggers being able to clearly stating exactly what it is that they have trouble with. When following the step by step tutorial exactly which step do you get stuck on?
-
Edit: to include missing word above
” does not writing anything at all on any other blogger’s blog.” was meant to be
does not involve writing anything at all on any other blogger’s blog. -
Just so you don’t lose track of my question, I will pose it again her:
When following the step by step tutorial exactly which step do you get stuck on?
-
I still think I said it in my first entry, which was “I’m new. You jumped the gun on me. I don’t want what you think I want. How do I back it up? or get out and start over?”
If I hit the wrong keys and you say, “OK your new blog is now XYZ”, and I say, No, I’m not XYZ, I’m Brad. How do I back it up and make it right? … make it say “Brad” and not “XYZ”? OR, how do I delete the whole thing and start over? Either way would work.
-
I’m sorry but that verbiage is too garbled and vague for me to be able to help you. Hopefully,someone else may speak your lingo well enough to comprehend what you mean.

Ia m a Canadian. I fail to understand how what that has anything to do with you clearly stating exactly what you need help to do.
Your username here is bradvines2014.
The username account for brad is already in use by another blogger.
If you want to change your display name see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/ -
If you want a writer and consultant to write something for your blog, perhaps you should consider paying her.
-
“paying” who, raincoaster? Is timethief a writer and consultant?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
timethief. You’re Canadian. What language was spoken at the family dinner table when you were growing up? -
@raincoaster
Indeed I agree with you on that, but I am not accepting any clients at this time. Are you?
