I entered wrong email on sign up. went to settings page to change it but apparently it is asking me to confirm through the email I signed up with (which does not exist.)
Correct email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Incorrect I signed up with (email visible only to moderators and staff)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having the same issue with my site. I confirmed the new email address, but it still isn’t “taking.”
Site: hydrologicgroup.wordpress.com

Hi there,
When you try to change your email address, a confirmation email is sent to the new address. For the change to take effect, you’ll need to confirm the new address through the link in the email. For Gmail addresses, the confirmation email often gets stuck in the “Social” tab. Can you check the new (correct) email to see if you received an email confirmation?
