I exported my blog called www.whynotshanghai.wordpress.com. I cannot open it on my computer properly

  My blog calles http://www.whynotshanghai.wordpress.com I cannot open on my computer.
  Encrypted signs when I open it and no normal letters and pictures. The format does not match with my computerprograms to open it properly.
  I would like to see all the dues and if possible my fotos.

  Hi there. The export file is in a format called XML, that’s meant to be read by other websites, not for reading on your computer. That file also does not contain any of your images, but only the links to where those images are stored in your media library.

  If you want your blog available in a format you can read offline, you’ll need to either print it out or use an online service to convert your blog into a PDF or Word document.
