I FEEL THAT MY BLOG IS BEING CENSORED

    My wordpress.com address is Mattiewalk.com. I am very different than some of your writers in that I walked away from homosexuality in 1998. I know a lot of people believe that homosexuality is genetic. I am not one of those people. And I write a blog based on my post gay life from a Christian perspective. I have noticed lately that my blogs, which used to be included in the blog reel of everyone’s blogs, are now being excluded. I have not seen one of my blogs go public for a while now. I read that you do not censor blogs with a differing opinion, but unless I have checked a box somewhere or done something to censor myself, I have been censored. I would appreciate it if someone could look into this. I noticed a lot of posts on coming out day, but my post never showed up. It seems a little suspicious to me. Thanks for checking this out for me.

    Hi there,

    We do not in fact censor folks unless they have requested to have their site marked as Mature, which your site is not.

    Instead, the issue here is that you are setting too many tags for each of your posts. When you use too many tags, your post is considered to be tag-spamming and does not get included in the Reader. It’s best to use no more than 15 tags and categories combined, and really closer to 10-12.

    I reduced the number of tags on my blogs significantly and I still have not seen them appear in the “newsfeed” along with other blogs. Unless there is a computer glitch or something or I have selected a field that censors myself, I feel that my blogs are being censored from the newsfeed. I would like someone to take a closer look at this if possible.

    Hiya,

    I just did a quick search in the reader for one of your tags on your most recent posts (“Gay Christians”) and it pulled up your most recent post, the Scratching the Surface post, and also the Wake up or Suffer the Consequences post from a month ago. All of them seem to be appearing in the Reader newsfeed appropriately. If they were not, a tag search would not have been able to find them.
