I forgot my password

I have been trying to solve this issue for a long time ago already. The person who created the webpage for me basically disappeared and never answer my emails/texts and I don’t recall the password to log in to my WordPress.
I am getting an email from WordPress saying that my page has technical problems and I should follow the instructions in my email to solve the issue. I am afraid the person who created my page is getting such instructions. The email I get from WordPress give me a link to access to my wordpress account for solving the problem, ask me for the password which I do not recall. When using the ‘I forgot my password’ option it gives me an error and therefore I am not able to logg in.
