I found a dangerous website using a name suspiciously close to mine

    I run a blog called ‘2oldguyswalking.wordpress.com’. I just found another website named ‘2.oldguyswalking.wordpress.com’ (with a dot after the # 2) which Firefox warned me was a security risk. When I tried to go through the WordPress (Auttomatic) complaint site, it said that it’s not WordPress, but a Whois search said it is. Is there anything I can do about it ?

    Hi @saphyregemstone, that’s just oldguyswalking.wordpress.com and I’m not sure who added a 2. to the address. But it’s just displaying that site, only with a security warning because we didn’t set up SSL for that address. The same thing would happen if withanything.2oldguyswalking.wordpress.com, if you want to try that to confirm.

    My guess is that whoever shared the link meant to share your site, but added the dot accidentally.
