I gave admin status to a Fiverr seller and now can’t delete him
-
Hello,
I gave admin status to a seller on Fiverr to tweak some things on my Home page, as he said he couldn’t do anything with Editor status.
Now I can’t delete him (although there is an option to delete my profile), and his name is appearing in the top right instead of mine (i.e. where it says ‘Hi xyz’)
I’m also not able to change his status from administrator to editor for example.
Is this something to be concerned about? And wondering how I go about deleting him?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Lisa,
Please try logging in and out of your wp admin to see if something refreshes in your admin area! If this does not work please follow this guide below:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#removing-users
Let me know if you have any other questions and I wish you a wonderful rest of your day
Greetings

Thanks, I only ever log into my WordPress account through BlueHost, but it was logging in as the Fiverr seller. I tried logging out and logging back in, but it didn’t accept my username and password. When I clicked on ‘forgot password’, I got a message saying to watch for a password reset in my inbox. I never did get the reset – checked in spam and no luck there either.
Help!

Sounds like you actually need help for a WordPress powered site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
These pages are helpful to learn how to overcome login issues:

Thanks for the clarification and for pointing me in the right direction! Really appreciate it :-)
