I get a “Stop running this script” notice when I update

I appreciate your suggestion, but all of this has already been done with no apparent help. This is not an individual problem associated with one account. If you’ll read thru the threads, you’ll see that there is a recent surge of the same problems from numerous users and isn’t specific to browser or cookies. Still waiting for support to address and give usable remedy.
Was just looking for anyone who has received a coherent answer from support on this.

Hi all. We’re aware of this issue and looking into it. We’ll update you when it’s resolved :) Thanks for your patience!

That was fast! It has been resolved. My postings are going thru error free. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, but so far, so good. Thanks again and Best Wishes :)

I also get the “Warning: Unresponsive Script” message from the SyntaxHighlighter Evolved Version 2.2.1 plugin when editing a post (new or existing) in HTML mode with WordPress 2.8.4 for both FireFox 3.5.3 and IE 8.
“A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Stop Script Continue”
SyntaxHighlighter works fine in the single post that uses it.
The unresponsive script error happens when I’m editing a generic post that does not use the SyntaxHighlighter features and try to toggle to HTML mode. The only way to avoid it is to disable the SyntaxHighlighter plugin, do my editing, save the post and re-enable the plugin. If I click “Stop Script” the error message will reappear while it times outs in an endless cycle.
I use BlueHost.com to host my blog. Is there a way to isolate the area of the script that is causing the problem?
Thanks

Afraid you’re in the wrong forum. There are two kinds of WordPress, and you need to be over at WordPress.ORG instead, as we don’t use plugins at all here and can’t help you.
