i get the following error message when I want add a new post.

  for troubleshooting:
  Are you using something like virtualbox to post from?
  — i had this problem using virtualbox, which is why I ask.

  It would be helpful if you give your browser and browser version
  — example: Firefox 31

  using firefox dont know the version

  on firefox
  hold the “alt” key and the menu bar will become visible.
  mouse over “help” and then select “About Firefox” from the menu
  this will tell you the firefox version
  the current updated version is 31.

  try clearing your cookies. then testing the posting and see if that fixes it.
  to clear your cookies on firefox
  {shift}(control} {Delete}
  check the option for “clear cookies”.
  then select “clear now.”

  you will have to log back in to wordpress.com after that.
