I get the following error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”. ‘ (T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING), but I do not have the backup of the website, what do I do?
My page is planv.com.ve
Thanks! -
planv.com.ve is hosted by Media Temple
Name Servers:
ns1.mediatemple.net
ns2.mediatemple.netYou are posting to the wrong support forum for support for your software. Also be aware of who the web host is for your site and contact them for any hosting issues.
That site is not on wordpress.COM servers. This is wordpress.COM support. We do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page. Read the differences here https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/

Hello, I just posted a food post last night and this morning I went to check my stats and saw a prompt for a wordpress update. I updated it and right after I got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/86/12059486/html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-23-related-posts-plugin/config.php on line 130
I am not even able to login to wp-admin login. What can I do to fix this?
Thank you so much in advanced!
Kathryn

Hi Kathryn,
Please try using ftp or your host’s control panel to delete the wordpress-23-related-posts-plugin folder from /wp-content/plugins/
That should allow you to regain access to the admin.
If it doesn’t, or if you can’t delete the folder, please try contacting your host or posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
The forum you’ve posted this thread in only provides support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. As your site is not hosted here, we can not provide support for it.
To learn about the differences between the two versions of WordPress (.com vs.org), please see this guide.
Good luck!

thank you! my website is hosted by wordpress.com. (www.kathrynskitchenblog.com). How do I even begin to login to my wordpress.com account with that error popping up? I don’t even have access to any panels.

kathrynskitchenblog.com isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com, it’s hosted with Godaddy:
http://www.whoishostingthis.com/?q=kathrynskitchenblog.com
The site may be connected to a WordPress.com account via Jetpack, but it is not hosted here.
If you need support for it, please try contacting your host (Godaddy) or try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
Thanks :)
