i got a warning that a stranger is editing my blog

  I just began editing a post on my private, no-invitees blog and I got a warning at the top of the screen that someone named naoko is currently editing this post. I finished my changes anyway and updated, apparently without a problem, but I still get that warning. Is that an administrator? Or spam? I appreciate any thoughts.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need to go in and change your password and contact staff immediately. Have you assigned any other administrators to your blog?

  No. I haven’t even invited anyone else to read it. My settings indicate no one should be there except me.

  Do as I said. It may have been a glitch, but it is best to make sure. Give them the details you put in this thread including the username so that they can investigate.

  It could very well be a staff member just poking around in the guts of your blog fixing something, but do as tsp suggests anyway for peace of mind.
