    Hey sayyeahblog,

It means someone else has bought this domain name.

Yes my friend bought this domain and then yesterday he transferred it to my Godaddy account and I can see it on my domain list.

    Hi there,

I ‘d like to add gezeyenler.com domain to my blog but I’m receiving this error message “This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site.”. How can I fix it?

I see that the registrar of your domain, gezeyenler.com is GoDaddy (as you also mentioned in this thread). Though you have domain mapping on this domain, you now have to replace the Name Servers to

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

You have to contact your registrar (domain provider) and ask them to change it for you. You can also do it yourself by logging into your account at your domain registrar.

Here is the support document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi there,

Another WordPress.com user account already owns a domain mapping upgrade for the domain, gezeyenler.com, and they also own the WordPress.com site connected to that domain.

If that person transfers their WordPress.com site to you it will also transfer the domain mapping upgrade, or else they’ll need to post here so we can help them transfer the domain mapping upgrade to a site in your account.

Thank you very much to everybody, will talk with my friend to transfer domain through wordpress as well.

  • Happy to help.

Just to be clear, If your friend only wants to move the domain mapping upgrade, they will have to contact support so we can help. Commenting in this thread will be fine.

The only way they can do it themselves is if they transfer the entire site to you. Then all upgrades connected to the site will also transfer.

    Hi,

Thank you verymuch for your reply. He already unmapped the domain o wordpress but now I got this error message “This domain was recently in use by someone else and is not available to map yet. Please try again later or contact support.”

  • Yes, when a mapping upgrade is removed from one account there’s a short period during which it cannot be added by another account. That is why I asked that the other person post in this thread to give me permission to move the mapping upgrade for you instead.

To which site in your account should that mapping upgrade be connected? I’ll also need the other person to comment here to confirm they no longer want it connected to their site, please.

    Hello,

I am the previous owner of gezeyenler.com. I transferred my domain to Babek and then removed mapping from my wordpress account. I give permission to Babek (sayyeahblog) to map his blog to gezeyenler.com. Please, consider my request and let him map.

@bayrammursalli — thanks for your reply!

    @sayyeahblog — I’ve added domain mapping for gezeyenler.com, to gezeyenleraz.wordpress.com:

    https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/gezeyenler.az

gezeyenler.az is currently set as the primary domain for the site — this is what visitors will see in their browser’s address bar. Anyone visiting gezeyenler.com be to redirected to gezeyenler.az automatically.

    I hope this helps!
