I got interrupted in the process of establishing a blog and am not sure I got everything done

There was a window about google address that I did not understand so nothing was done with it. When I open my site it does not seem right. No password etc.

Hi there! You can ignore that. You are using the new editor. This was a function in the classic version of our editor. It’s no longer a useful setting for you. Disregard!
2. Does “sticky still apply’ and where does it come into play
By default, WordPress.com blogs display posts in reverse chronological order with the latest post at the top. If you had an older post you thought was very important and wanted it to stay at the top of the list, you could make it “sticky.” Here is information about this:

3. What is my “avatar”?
You avatar is the image which is displayed when you account information is shown, such as when you leave a comment on someone’s site. Here is how you set that up:

Evidently I am not getting to the “Admin Dashboard. The screen that comes up when I put in the address greets me. “this is your very first post. Click delete to modify or delete it to start a new post.” I find no “Delete” to click. The post I thought I posted two days ago is not there either.
