I had a post scheduled for 5:30 pm. I received a notification only on the bell in the upper right corner of the my site location. But I do not have it in my list of published posts and when I go to my blog address the latest post is the one I post last week.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Did you make sure you have scheduled your post correctly by following the steps outlined on this support documentation?:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/schedule-a-post/
I can see that you have now posted a new post. Did you do it manually? Have the scheduling worked correctly in the past?

As it says on that support guide:
Scheduled posts will be triggered by the first visit to your blog on or after the exact date/time you set. If you see that the scheduled time has come and gone and your post has not published, simply log out of WordPress.com and view your blog’s front page. Your visit should cause the post to appear.
That might be the discrepancy you’re seeing.

I did reIog into my wordpress account and still nothing. I ended up having to use the one post link that was attached to the bell notification, highlighted everything to do a copy and paste into a new blog post and then posted from that and it worked immediately.
When I scheduled it on Saturday I thought something was a little off in the drop down options on the right hand side but I figured there must have been an update to the program that I missed reading. I wouldn’t give me the option to link to my FB account.
Thanks for the help. -
Thanks for that detailed description.
